Sam Percy is a Certified Practising Valuer with more than 15 years of experience in the property market. He prepares and signs the firm’s high value and complex valuations.

He has valued property for the NSW Government, banks and private lenders, and solicitors, and given expert valuation evidence in the Land and Environment Court.

Sam started his career in taxation valuations, moved into statutory land value objections, and has since worked across expert witness evidence, mortgage security and independent valuations for private clients, accountants and solicitors.

Much of that work was for the Valuer General of NSW, the Crown Solicitor’s Office and lenders, where the valuation is read by someone whose job is to challenge it. PPV reports are written the same way: the evidence, the adjustments and the reasoning are all stated, so the conclusion can be tested.

The same method sits behind the Strategic Land Review. His range runs from standard suburban homes to prestige residential property and large commercial and development holdings.

Taxation and rating valuations

Sam’s career began in rating and taxation valuations for the Valuer General of NSW. The same discipline sits behind PPV’s capital gains tax, stamp duty and financial reporting valuations.

Statutory land value objections

He has reviewed and valued land through the Valuer General’s objection process across Sydney and regional NSW, from residential land to commercial, industrial, retail and development holdings. He knows what a reviewer looks for because he has been the reviewer.

Expert witness and litigation

He has given expert valuation evidence in the Land and Environment Court and valued property for the Crown Solicitor’s Office, often where the value needs to be tested.

Mortgage security valuations

He has valued prestige residential property throughout Sydney for banks and private lenders, from inspection through to discussing the assessed value with the lender.

Independent valuations

Valuations for private clients, accountants, solicitors and developers, across residential, commercial, industrial and specialised property, for taxation, insurance, lending and financial reporting.
